About project

Istok is the second stage of a metalwork calculator project for a returning client. I redesigned the public interface around the ISTOK brand and expanded the calculator into a full service: gates, wickets, fences, canopies, trusses, serial products, automated pricing, PDF drawings, requests, payments, CRM integration, and an admin panel for managing the calculation model without code changes.

Achievements

• Delivered a separate redesign after the first version: the client returned to extend the calculator and refresh the public interface
• Expanded pricing flows for gates, wickets, fences, canopies, trusses, and serial products
• Built an admin panel for managing products, fillings, sizes, options, colors, PDF drawings, interface copy, and markup
• Added a calculation table with applicability conditions, price sources, coefficients, and server-side model validation
• Added image and PDF uploads with file optimization and safe uploads serving
• Integrated requests and paid orders with Bitrix24, including calculation details, amount, color, PDF, and transfer statuses
• Added YooKassa payment creation, webhook confirmation, payment status, and deal creation after successful payment
• Implemented customer emails after payment and a knowledge base/AI assistant for public questions and project administration
• Prepared SEO landing pages, robots/sitemap, JSON-LD, and tests for pricing, CRM, payments, emails, SEO, and the knowledge base
