About project

MIN is my own minimalist messenger for personal conversations and small teams. I develop the entire product, from the interface and client logic to the backend, data model, and deployment. It includes direct messages, groups and channels, attachments, reactions, polls, and one-to-one audio calls. Development is ongoing. The gallery shows the public heymin.ru page and a local copy of the app with demo participants and messages; no real conversations are used.

Achievements

• Built the messenger frontend and backend: direct conversations, groups and channels with member roles, attachments, reactions, and polls.
• Implemented WebSocket messaging, delivery acknowledgements, an outgoing queue, and synchronization after reconnection. Added one-to-one audio calls with WebRTC.
• Built a responsive web/PWA client and shared typed REST/WebSocket contracts. Extracted the protocol and design tokens into separate packages to support native client development.
